Please include your band's name and website with every email you send me. I may not get a link up if it isn't included in the email, and unfortunately, my memory is not as sharp as it once was. I may have a hard time remembering what band Timmy Smith plays for when he emails me stating: "Hey, Dead Man dude, we have a gig on the 15th." It may go up as "Timmy Smith's Band," rather than the much more awesome "Killing Babies With Spoons."

You are not bothering me, even if it is your first-ever gig. You are not bothering me, even if you email me multiple times with updates. You are not bothering me, even if it is to correct a mistake I've made. I want you to have a good gig, and I sure don't want to look like a dummy for posting the wrong info. You are not bothering me, even if you are emailing me (or texting me--email me and I will give you my text number) at the last possible minute (Looking at you, Mr. Shemper!). If I am able, I will get your gig up. I don't promise that last-minute shows will be posted, but I will if I am able.


And another thing: DMD gets the most hits on Monday mornings. (Who are these organised freaks, anyway?)
The earlier I get your date, the more people will see it.

I also list each date in the order that I get notice of that date. So, if you think being first on the calendar day is to your advantage, get your date to me before anyone else does.
